Associate Therapist

With Elizabeth, a growing private practice in NYC that specializes in maternal mental health, is looking to hire an exceptional Associate Therapist (Fully Licensed or Limited Permit Holders) to work with individuals virtually.

With a primary focus on maternal mental health, With Elizabeth supports and empowers new, expecting, and seasoned moms to tackle the complex emotions and identity shifts that often come with motherhood. By providing emotional support, expert resources, and effective tools and strategies, our team helps clients make meaningful changes in their lives.

Start Date: Immediate | Job Type: Full-time, Part-time | Location: Remote (with possibility of hybrid)

Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Provide weekly individual and occasional couples therapy sessions

  • Complete clinical session notes

  • Participate in weekly individual supervision and clinical trainings as needed

  • Coordinate with outside providers for the patient as necessary

  • Respond effectively and promptly to clients outside of session

Requirements

  • Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (PhD, PsyD), Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling (LMHC or Limited Permit MHC), or Master’s Degree in Clinical Social Work (LCSW or Limited Permit LMSW)

  • Licensed or Pre-Licensed, and in good standing, in New York State or New Jersey

  • For Psychologist candidates, preference for those who have obtained or will be obtaining PSYPACT credentials

  • If applying for part-time role, maintain a caseload of at least 8 clinical hours per week (we will find clients for you, no client acquisition needed)

  • If applying for full-time role, maintain a caseload of at least 20 clinical hours per week (we will find clients for you, no client acquisition needed)

  • Training, experience, or interest in perinatal mental health

  • Ability to submit session notes and other materials within the time frame agreed upon with supervisor

  • Must own your own computer with reliable internet for virtual sessions with clients and a private space for sessions to be conducted with HIPAA compliance

  • Ability to work both daytime and evening hours on a set schedule that is mutually decided upon between the employee and owner of the practice

  • Expectation of a 24-month contract
